This award is to thank a volunteer who performs a specific task, such as the plumbing or electric, on each house that is built or rehabilitated. The volunteer may not be around all year long, but are there at key times when their technical skill is need.
The first award recipient for the Foundation Award was Rich Rowson, who has been a Habitat volunteer, not only with Salem County Habitat but has assisted with the Cumberland and Gloucester Habitat affiliate with over 40 homes. Rich has even participated with the Jimmy Carter Work Project in Mexico in 2003. |
